What a lovely pub. Took my parents, daughter and dog today for lunch. Great staff, good menu with generous portions. Lovely open fire going. Will definitely be making it a regular haunt
Sitting here now. There couldn't be a friendlier, warmer place selling lovely beer and lovely food with such a pleasant smile! And all on a cold, blustery day. I ought to leave now, but maybe another pint...
The menu was expensive, we all had fish finger sandwiches and fries. There was a long wait and when we finally got our food it was overcooked. We also ordered tea but they only had whole milk, so changed one of the drinks to coffee as they don't like milky tea. The coffee was cold and the tea was really weak. Extremely disappointing, especially as it was such a quaint looking place with open fires and wonderful old pictures everywhere.
