Fabulous country pub food very good worth the trip from main road to fund and enjoy
Very nice country pub with some good ales and comforting food, with Bed and breakfast option available.
We have used this pub on a number of occasions for getting the family together. The covers are reasonably spaced and took our party of 10 with ease. The food was to a high standard, well priced, and enjoyed by all. Good public bar supported by friendly staff made our visits that much more memorable. Recommended.
Friendly cosy pub. Simple menu of good food. No music or flashing light machines. Nice fire in the cold days, nice outdoors on the warm days.
The bar is friendly with real people and their dogs, all calm. My visit was the evening. Bar staff kind and helpful. Never eaten in the 'gastro pub' so unable to comment. Nice cosy atmosphere.
