Lovely to grab a quick coffee and toasted tea cake in this place. Cheaper than the Costa and Coffee No. 1s in town. Sat in the warm front window seats. Quick service, and refreshments. Tempted by the rather large all day breakfasts on offer, but New Year diet reminder kicked in.....

Fantastic down to earth English restaurant. Vast amount of choice in good quality well cooked clean food. Good children's menu. Very clean great staff team and unlimited tea if partaking. We ordered the big all day breakfast which well hit the spot. Local pay and display parking nearby.. Well worth a visit.
I love this place, I made a beeline to sit under the orange ceiling. Good value tasty food generous servings. Staff that served us were smart, attentive and polite. All the furnishings are original (I see from other reviews), but clean so eye catching. It was a cloudy day and I felt like the decor really lifted my senses, like the sun had come out. A nice family atmosphere in the cafe with different age groups seated. I recommend this place.
